Real Madrid striker Rodrygo has posted a picture on his social media where he is seen posing with Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé at a club in Italy.
The future of the French international is uncertain since he refused to trigger the extension which would have allowed him to stay at the Parc des Princes until 2025. He remains convinced that he will stay until 2024 and leave free, which prompted the club to drop him from the first team during his trip to Japan.
Real Madrid player Rodrygo has fueled speculation over the French star’s possible move to the Santiago Bernabéu by posting a picture with Mbappé at a club in Sardinia, Italy.
According to a report by Report, it was a chance meeting between the two players and not a planned meeting. Both players share a close bond off the pitch and when they met, nothing was discussed about the Frenchman’s future.
The Mbappé transfer saga could continue until August as Real Madrid reportedly took a wait-and-see approach in order to force PSG to accept a reduced offer at the end of the window.
