Xavi, the Barça coach, is considering a change in tactics that could greatly satisfy French defender Jules Koundé.
Arrived last summer at Barça from Sevilla FC, Jules Koundé has had a full season. Admittedly, aligned on the right side of the Catalan defense for the majority of the 2022-23 financial year, the Parisian, a central defender by profession, nevertheless won the championship and the Spanish Supercup. But at the dawn of next season, the vice-world champion would now categorically refuse to play on this right flank, if we are to believe Mundo Deportivo.
According to the Iberian media, an interview would have taken place between the tricolor defender and Xavi, his coach. The latter would have informed the former Sevilla FC of his intention to swap his current device for a 3-4-3. This system would thus allow the former Bordelais to regain a place within the axis of defense of the Blaugranas.
