“If you ask me, yes, we won the Champions League last season, but we went to the final in my first season. We could have easily won it too. The thing I want to talk about is that it’s not just last season. We do it before me, the club has been at this level for quite a while. I think for you to think that’s all I need to accomplish, you have to be narrow-minded or not very ambitious. It’s great, and if you look at what can be accomplished, it’s almost there. Even if I had everything, it’s still not done. I did it once, and I can always do it two, three or four times. I think for the kind of goal I’ve set for myself, the path I want to follow is not ‘oh yes, I won the Champions League, now I can just hang my boots and that’s it.
