Riyad Mahrez is ready to leave Manchester City after agreeing to Saudi club Al-Ahli.

The Algerian international had already announced his intention to leave Manchester City this summer and the player has reportedly agreed with Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli on personal terms. If the deal is not yet finalized, the two clubs are expected to discuss Mahrez’s transfer within 24-48 hours, reports journalist Ben Jacobs.

Al-Ahli is reportedly preparing a £30m offer for the player and offering him a salary of £25m a year.

City could lose Mahrez and Bernardo Silva in the same window, with the latter keen to join Barcelona. Silva is also the subject of an offer from Paris Saint-Germain, but he wants to sign for the Catalan giants. While Mahrez is keen to leave Cityzens, coach Pep Guardiola isn’t happy with the prospect of losing his two star wingers in the same window.

The former Leicester City star is under contract with the English champions until 2025 and his transfer to Saudi Arabia now depends on the club’s willingness to allow him to leave.
