After Amandine Henry, the French women’s team could suffer a new package for the World Cup which begins in less than a week.

Hervé Renard winces. The friendly match played on Friday against Australia plunged the coach of Les Bleues into doubt. And not really because of the narrow defeat suffered in Melbourne (1-0). The Olympique Lyonnais player seriously injured her ankle (1-0, 90th+5), a few days before the start of the World Cup. France will begin the competition on Sunday July 23 against Jamaica, in Sydney.

While waiting to learn more about Selma Bacha, more in-depth examinations are expected on Saturday, the Blue hope not to suffer a new package.

Midfielder Amandine Henry, filled with happiness after being recalled to the rooster’s jersey, was forced to throw in the towel six days ago for a left calf muscle injury contracted in training.
