UEFA announced on Friday the list of clubs that have failed to respect financial fair play. OM and PSG are in the nails.

Before the entry into force from the next financial year of the new financial rules enacted by UEFA – rules that are relaxed in terms of the deficit but reinforced in terms of the supervision of the wage bill, proportional to the income generated – the fair financial play struck one last time under its current codes.

In this game, FC Barcelona finds itself pinned by the Club Financial Control Authority (ICFC), sentenced to a fine of 500,000 euros for shortcomings in the presentation of its accounts. Same punishment for Basaksehir (€400,000), Manchester United, Trabzonspor and Royal Antwerp (€300,000). The sentence can go up to two million euros in penalties for these last two clubs.

The four French formations closely followed by the ICFC and UEFA on the other hand are spared. OM, PSG, Monaco and Lille have all respected their part of the contract with the continental body for the largesse observed in the past. The Italians of Inter, AC Milan and AS Roma also pass between the drops.
