At the end of the contract, and after twelve seasons at Manchester United, David de Gea has confirmed that he is leaving the Red Devils for good. The goalkeeper arrived from Atlético Madrid, his training club, in 2011 for 25 million euros.

We have achieved a lot since dear Sir Alex Ferguson brought me to this club. It was an unforgettable period and a real success. I didn’t think that by leaving Madrid when I was just a young boy, we would realize what we did together.
