OL played a prestigious friendly match against MU on Wednesday. Les Gones gave in on the smallest of gaps.
Laurent Blanc’s OL began their preparation for the new season with a victory against the Dutch team of De Treffers (2-1). This Wednesday, the Rhodanians followed up with another match, but of a completely different level. They were measured against the vice-champion of England, Man United.
A very shy OL
Even if it was not the big MU in front, the logic was respected in this part with the victory of the English on the smallest of the gaps. The Dutchman Donny Van De Beek signed the only achievement of this part (49e) at the beginning of the second act. A goal scored on a magnificent volley.

The score of this meeting could have been more consistent if Anthony Lopes had not made several saves during the first act. On the Lyon side, only Alexandre Lacazette and Jeffinho managed to be dangerous during the first act.
Note that Laurent Blanc has changed his entire team from one team to another, with the exception of Diomandé. It was thus able to carry out a broad review of the workforce. However, there were a few absentees, like Maxence Caqueret who has not yet resumed training.
