PSG shatters ticketing records

Paris Saint-Germain is European vice-champion in ticketing revenue. With a relatively small stadium (48,000 seats) compared to the other major players in Europe, PSG and its Parc des Princes have established themselves as monsters in ticket sales. According to The Teamthe Ile-de-France club achieved, during the 2022-2023 season, 153 million revenues thanks to its ticketing, an impressive figure compared to the maximum capacity of the Parc-des-Princes, and which should increase further during the following seasons. It’s simple, no one does better, with the exception of FC Barcelona with 166 million euros collected.

PSG can boast of having several major European clubs in its rearview mirror with huge stadiums that can accommodate between 30 and 50,000 additional seats (Signal Iduna Park, San Siro, Emirates Stadium). A score which can partly be explained by the exorbitant amount of certain places at the Park, up to 5,000 euros in VIP, and the overall increase in prices within the latter. Despite these flattering statistics, Paris and its leaders want more. Qatar would insistently seek a solution to play in a larger stadium, whatever the means implemented.
