After announcing the end of its collaboration with Christophe Galtier, Paris Saint-Germain has offered the services of Luis Enrique for the 2023-2024 edition. The 53-year-old Spanish coach has signed up for the next two seasons with the capital club. Present during training at the PSG campus, the former coach of FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team presented the staff who will now accompany him in his new mission.
Borja Alvarez Buedo and his assistant Jean-Luc Aubert have been chosen to assist the goalkeepers. Aitor Unzue Elorza (2nd deputy) and Rafael Pol Cabanellas (1st deputy) will support Luis Enrique in his task while Joaquin Valdes Fonseca will serve as psychologist. Note that some of Christophe Galtier’s assistants have been retained, such as Pedro Gomez (physical trainer) and Alberto Piernas (assistant physical trainer).
