OGC Nice hosts AS Saint-Etienne this Friday for the 5th day of Ligue 1 (8:45 p.m.). Here is the expected line-up for the Aiglons.

After a very mixed start to the season, theOGC Nice will try to collect a second success in 5 matches. To do this, Franck Haise’s men will have to avoid the trap set by the Greens, who are regaining confidence after their victory against Lille last week (1-0).

Nice is approaching this match with a squad that is still decimated, like its opponent. “There are no major changes,” lamented Franck Haise. “For Morgan (Sanson, ankle), I had hoped that he would be able to resume team training this week, but that won’t be the case. We won’t have him back right away. I think it will be more like October. Hicham (Boudaoui, knee) has resumed re-athletic training, it’s progressing rather well. We’ll see in the two and a half weeks left before the break if we can get him back. We have a little doubt about Issiaga Camara, he has a tendon problem. He was in treatment yesterday (Tuesday). He should still train today. And Terem (Moffi, knee) and Gaëtan (Laborde, knee) are still missing.”

Nice still has to tinker

With these executives absent for a long period, Nice must therefore continue to tinker to line up a competitive eleven. A mission all the more delicate as the club is in a period of transition with the arrival of Franck Haise and a transfer window marked by the departures of Jean-Clair Todibo and Kephren Thuram.

Nice should still present itself with a three-man defense in front of the inevitable Bulka. In the middle, the Ndombélé-Rosario tandem holds the road, while Clauss and Bard are expected to take on their usual roles as pistons. The Diop-Guessand-Cho trio could be aligned in attack.

The expected line-up for Nice : Bulka – Dante, Ndayishimiye, Monem – Bard, Ndombélé, Rosario, Clauss – Diop, Guessand, Cho.
