There were banners in Strasbourg and Nantes this Sunday afternoon. On Sunday evening, RC Lens supporters punctuated this Ligue 1 weekend by attacking the LFP and its president Vincent Labrune, re-elected this week.
On the occasion of the reception of Olympique Lyonnais, the ultras of the Blood and Gold displayed a rather scathing banner to point out the connivance between Vincent Labrune and the presidents of Ligue 1, in particular Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the very influential boss of Paris Saint-Germain. “Leaders without balls, on their knees before Labrune and Nasser: now, suffer and shut up!”: The message is clear.
After posting other punchlines – like
“Empty Laburne, full pockets” (sic) -, the Lens supporters then unfurled banners in no less than three stands, to saddle the LFP with a whole bunch of rather flowery qualifiers: Unreason – Absurdity – Delirium – Stupidity – Blindness – Baseness – Disinformation – Gangrene – Misappropriation – Dishonesty – Perversion – Manipulation – Immorality – Disgusting – Indecent – Sickening – Revolting. And the DAZN cameras could hardly avoid them…
