PSG: Benfica reveals the final amount of the transfer of João Neves

This summer, Paris Saint-Germain managed to get Benfica’s Portuguese star, João Neves. The capital club even pulled off a nice coup since the Aguias had long demanded the €120 million release clause before selling their midfielder in exchange for €60 million. However, the SLB revealed on Monday that a €10 million bonus had been included in the deal.

“In August 2024, Benfica reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the sale of all rights to the player João Neves, for a net fee of €59.9 million, to which is added variable remuneration linked to objectives, so that the total transfer fee could reach €69.9 million.“, can be read in the press release published by the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
