Bayern Munich have found their new sporting director

After the departure of the Oliver Kahn-Hasan Salihamidžić duo, Bayern Munich were looking for a new sporting director to work alongside Thomas Tuchel. After several weeks of research, it seems that the German Champion has found the right target. According to information from Sky SportsChristoph Freund will be the new sporting director of FC Bayern.

Freund has currently been Salzburg’s sporting director since 2015 and still has a contract with the Austrian club until 2026. But the 46-year-old manager has finally reached an agreement with the Bavarian outfit to start his new mission from September 1 . A new objective achieved for the FCB.
