Attention all Parisian, Lille, Monaco and Brest supporters who intend to travel to the European stage this season in the Champions League, and to Lyon and Nice who plan to do the same in the Europa League! After an initial cap decreed in 2019 but limited in practice, UEFA has decided to return to the charge regarding the limitation of travel costs for European fans.
This season, the away ticket will be limited to 60 euros in the Champions League, 40 euros in the Europa League and 20 euros in the Conference League. Prices are set to drop even further in the 2025-2026 season, with caps already set at 50 euros, 35 euros and, still, 20 euros depending on the aforementioned competition.
“More fan-friendly policies”
” By introducing more fan-friendly policies, we are continuing our mission to ensure football remains an inclusive sport, where fans who travel across Europe to follow their team are valued and recognised. “, said UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin in the official statement released today.
” The revised price caps are a further recognition of the importance of visiting supporters in the atmosphere of European club matches. “, rejoices the executive director of the Football Supporters Europe association, Ronan Evain.
