This Saturday, the second day of the Bundesliga began with a multiplex that promised to be busy with several interesting matches. At home, Eintracht Frankfurt were keen to start their season against Hoffenheim. Led by a great Hugo Ekitike, Dino Töppmoller’s men succeeded in their mission. While the former Parisian opened the scoring, another Hugo, Larsson, doubled the lead before the break on a caviar from the former Parisian. And even after Andrej Kramaric reduced the gap, the locals did not tremble and Omar Marmoush completed the success of his team a few minutes later (3-1). First success of the season in the championship for OL’s future opponent in the Europa League.

In the other matches of the afternoon, Borussia Dortmund conceded a goalless draw on the pitch of Werder Bremen (0-0). Dominant, BVB did not know how to convert its opportunities and the red card of Nico Schlotterbeck at the end of the match did not help the Marsupials. A draw was also the result obtained by Stuttgart against Mainz. Despite a goal from the former Rennes player Fabian Rieder in the 88th minute, the residents of the Mercedes-Benz Arena were held at the end of the match by a late goal from Maxim Leitsch (3-3, 90+3e). On the pitch of Bochum, Borussia Mönchengladbach, for its part, won thanks in particular to a goal from Franck Honorat (0-2). On the pitch of Holstein Kiel, Wolfsburg won by the same score (0-2).
