While Vincent Labrune’s record is being debated among club presidents, Nantes coach Antoine Kombouaré has given his opinion on the LFP boss.

“Can I kick it into touch?” Antoine Kombouaré knew he was venturing onto slippery ground. But the FC Nantes coach still gave his feelings on Vincent Labrune, this Thursday, at a press conference.

Unsurprisingly, the Canaries coach pointed out the failure of the LFP president in the TV rights issue.
“He promised a billion eurosis that it? Today, we are not even halfway there. If it is a coach, he gets fired. When a coach has bad results, he gets fired,” reacted the Kanak, in comments reported by L’Equipe.

An upcoming election for the LFP

“Then there are presidents who are there to decideadded Kombouaré, referring to the election scheduled for September 10 within the LFP. They are better placed than me.”

The former PSG and Lens coach is not a newcomer to the world of football, and he knows full well that his statements will cause a reaction. That’s why he allowed himself a little teasing message to Labrune as he left the room. Vincent, hello my friend! Kombouaré said to a camera filming the press conference.
