Another Portuguese at PSG?

After signing Joao Neves, PSG could once again go shopping in Lisbon.

PSG may not be done with the Portuguese market in the summer of 2024. A few weeks after signing Joao Neves, the Parisian club is considering signing another prodigy from the Portuguese team.

As announced a few days ago, Paris has its sights set on Tomas Araujo. This 22-year-old central defender has been identified as Milan Skriniar’s potential replacement in the event of his departure.

PSG is blocked

PSG have reportedly already made a contract offer to Araujo. However, nothing has changed between the two clubs yet. The French champions are undecided about the future of their Slovakian international.

Paris is not the only club interested in Araujo. There is also the Blues of Chelsea. The two clubs could offer themselves a great battle behind the scenes, as they did a year ago for the Uruguayan Manuel Ugarte.
