Manchester City’s other surprising target to replace Julian Alvarez

After the departure of Julian Alvarez to Atlético de Madrid and the injury of Oscar Bobb, Manchester City is active on the transfer market. The objective? To enlist a number 9, capable of providing an additional solution to Pep Guardiola and thus relieve Erling Haaland, the undisputed starter. With this in mind, The Athletic claims the Skyblues have considered a move for Orri Oskarsson.

Currently playing for FC Copenhagen, the 19-year-old striker is particularly appealing to the Manchester management. The English media outlet claims, however, that City should not pursue their interest for the moment. It should be noted, however, that other Premier League teams are interested in the Reykjavik native, while Porto and Real Sociedad are also in the running.
