The Victor Osimhen saga drags on. The Nigerian centre-forward wants to leave Naples but nothing concrete, visibly, is taking shape. Obviously, many clubs are keen on the profile of the 25-year-old striker, less so on his financial pretensions.
On the one hand, Napoli’s leaders are reportedly demanding nearly 130 million euros to let go of the club’s top scorer since 2020 and his arrival from Lille. The Super Eagle is also not making the discussions easier by putting very high conditions on the table.
According to English media, Victor Osimhen would agree to play at Chelsea for 500,000 pounds per week (590,000 euros), or nearly 2.4 million euros per month, which would be the best salary in the Premier League. At Manchester City, Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland would receive 400,000 and 375,000 pounds per week respectively.
