A key player in PSG’s big win over Montpellier (6-0) on Friday evening in Ligue 1, Bradley Barcola said he was “more liberated” since the Euro.

The post-Mbappé era has been going pretty well at PSG so far. After starting their season with a solid victory against Le Havre (1-4) last week, the French champions did even better this Friday evening. Facing Montpellier at the Parc des Princes, the Parisians won with a score of 6 goals to 0.

Author of a double and a very high-flying performance, Bradley Barcola was the man of the match. After the match, the French international revealed that he had ” released ” since Euro 2024, realizing the enormous differences he can make on the green rectangle.

Barcola: “I realized that I can make a difference”

“I had a lot of fun, said the former Lyonnais to DAZN. I felt free. The coach asks us to press together. We worked on that a lot. We have to make a lot of effort, we get used to it little by little. I have freed myself up more since the Euro, I have realised that I can make a difference.

And Barcola spoke about his first goal of the evening, the one that opened the scoring: ” Pushing the ball like that (on his first goal, editor’s note), it’s something I’ve been doing since I was very young. I still prefer the goal against Le Havre. In two matches played this season, PSG’s number 29 already has three goals to his name. And it’s probably not over yet…
