Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid coach, has been very clear, the Madrid club has completed its purchases for the summer transfer window. After finalizing the recruitments of Kylian Mbappé and Endrick, the Spanish champion has confirmed, through the voice of the Italian technician, its intention to focus on its current squad.
The Madrid dressing room, however, has several absentees, including David Alaba, who has been suffering from a torn ligament since December 2023. But also, Eduardo Camavinga, injured in the knee, and Jude Bellingham, victim of a “lesion of the plantar muscle of the right leg”.
“The market is closed for us”
During his press conference this Friday, before the reception of Valladolid scheduled for this Sunday in La Liga, Ancelotti ruled out any new recruits between now and the end of the summer transfer window. The Mister assured that he had the necessary players, particularly in central defence, and did not rule out the possibility of calling on elements of Castilla if necessary.
“We will not recruit any last-minute players or central defenders. The market is closed for us. (…) A risk in central defense? No. We have resources in this area. We have Raul Asencio, Jacobo Ramon and Aurélien Tchouaméni who can help”Don Carlo told reporters.
