Indeed, according to information from Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the 2022 world champion has accepted the offer from the Saudi club Al-Qadsiah.
He is expected to sign an XXL contract in the next few hours, valued at 75 million euros spread over three years, or 2 million euros per month. Although he had a release clause of 12 million euros, this expired on August 1.
AS Roma are expected to get €3m from the deal. Dybala’s initial wish was apparently to stay in Europe to play in the Champions League, but no club has come forward with an offer close to his clause.
A duo with Aubameyang in attack?
It’s almost a done deal. Paulo Dybala will be a new player for Saudi club Al-Qadsiah. The Argentinian international will leave Europe and find a new challenge in the Gulf country. The former Juventus striker could form a duo with ex-OM player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
He would also join Spanish defender Nacho who left Real Madrid this summer for Saudi Arabia.
