It’s vacation time for brothers Alexis and Félix Lebrun. A little over a week after the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, which sent them to the forefront of the media scene in France, the two young prodigies have chosen Barcelona to have a good time, as they show on Instagram. As big football fans, Alexis and Félix most certainly followed the first day of Ligue 1 of the season, last weekend. However, the eldest (20 years old) and the youngest (17 years old) do not support the same football club. And things must have been terrible between them for a few years now…
Born in Montpellier, they are passionate about OM, for Alexis, and OL, for Félix. As he confided in Stage 2 Last year, Alexis Lebrun prepared before his matches by listening Jumpby Van Halen, the music that obviously accompanies the players’ entrance into the Stade Vélodrome. Questioned by Laurent Luyat, Alexis did not answer “Jump”but “OM” when the music came on set. He also revealed that he was a big fan of Bigflo and Oli, the rapper brothers from Toulouse, and that he got into the mood with the international hit Pepas by Farruko.
Lebrun brothers expected at Parc OL
Felix, for his part, is therefore a Gone. The winner of the individual bronze medal at the Olympic Games had already expressed his passion for Olympique Lyonnais and the Rhone club took the opportunity to congratulate the 17-year-old table tennis player during his small final won against the Brazilian Hugo Calderano, on August 4. “You knew how to bounce back to win a medal. Never defeated, we fight until the end. Like our players last season. Well done Félix, you made us vibrate”wrote the X account of the Lyon club, in reference to the great end to the season by Alexandre Lacazette and his teammates.
All OL fans discovered, in the midst of Olympic fever, Félix Lebrun’s love for their club. And many of them then called for the double Olympic medallist at Groupama Stadium to kick off the first home game of Pierre Sage’s team, this Saturday (5 p.m.) against AS Monaco. It’s not on the program. But it could be fun to invite the two brothers for the “Olimpico” between Lyon and Marseille, on September 22 at the Parc OL.
