Endrick joined Real Madrid in the summer after turning 18, having agreed to join the Santiago Bernabeu from Palmeiras in 2022 for a reported €60m. However, Los Blancos made an even bigger transfer by landing Kylian Mbappe as a free agent, and Endrick has slipped down manager Carlo Ancelotti’s priority list as a result.
According to AS, the Brazilian is keen on making a big breakthrough with Real Madrid and already knew he wouldn’t be a starter for the club from the start. The report states that Endrick is hoping to become a regular in the team as soon as possible. However, he is keeping open the possibility of a loan move in January 2025, should he fail to make regular appearances at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Endrick could leave
Earlier this month, reports from HITC suggested that Endrick had attracted the attention of two unnamed Premier League sides with a view to a potential loan move this summer. However, the Brazilian is certain to fight for his place in the team until at least the end of 2024.
The 18-year-old has failed to play a single minute in Real Madrid’s opening two games of the season but will continue to work hard in a bid to force his way into Ancelotti’s plans.
