Because yesterday a new agreement was announced for the recruitment of a player, namely João Félix, from Atlético de Madrid, for €53 million. However, the Blues did not seem to be lacking in attacking players, since they already have Mudryk, Palmer, Neto, Nkunku, Broja, Madueke, Jackson, Sterling, Guiu, without even mentioning those who are expected to leave like Romelu Lukaku, David Datro Fofana or Deivid Washington.
This new transfer therefore raises questions and during the Monday Night Football on SkysportsJamie Carragher said out loud the analysis shared by many fans of the London club. “Chelsea need to stop buying players and players need to stop signing for Chelsea. I don’t know why, if I was a player, I would look at Chelsea and sign.”said the former Liverpool defender, before continuing.

Big football teams need competition. But in every team I’ve played for, there were seven or eight players who knew they were playing every week.”
For the moment, Chelsea have recruited 9 players on the market, soon 10 with João Félix, but already had an excessive squad. On social networks, jokes follow one another about the number of players under contract (45) and the impossibility of making all these people live together. “Chelsea must now be thinking about this: where is Felix going to change at the training ground?
