A red and a first trophy for Terrier at Bayer

Having transferred from Rennes this summer, Martin Terrier has already opened his record at Leverkusen. Also on the disciplinary level.

Bayer, the undisputed German champion last season, won the German Super Cup this Saturday evening at the expense of Stuttgart.

Leverkusen had the last word on penalties (4-3), held to a draw at the end of regulation time (2-2) after goals from Victor Boniface (11e) and Patrik Schick (88e) and while VfB had managed to turn the tide thanks to the French Espoirs international Enzo Millot (15e) and Deniz Undav (63e).

This gala match coincided with Martin Terrien’s first official match in his new colours. And the former Rennes player distinguished himself in spite of himself by leaving Bayer at 10 against 11 from the 37th minutee minute of play, sent off for an uncontrolled hard tackle.
