Arsenal – West Ham: the lineups are down

The European championships are back in full swing this weekend and the Premier League is already off to a great start with a great victory for Liverpool against the promoted Ipswich and Manchester United’s success against Fulham last night. This Saturday night, the multiplex had four games in store for us with the first day for Arsenal and Newcastle. The Gunners beat Wolverhampton (2-0) with goals from Kai Havertz (25th) and Bukayo Saka (74th).

The Magpies fought hard to secure a 1-0 home win over Southampton. Despite Fabian Schär’s early sending off (28th), Joeliton scored the only goal of the game to seal the win (45th). In the other games, Brighton travelled to Goodison Park to challenge Everton. Reduced to ten men, the Toffees were unable to resist the Seagulls (0-3) led by Kaoru Mitoma (25th), Danny Welbeck (56th) and Simon Adingra (87th). Nottingham Forest were equalised late on (1-1) against Bournemouth with goals from Chris Wood (23rd) and Antoine Semenyo (86th).
