Earlier this week, FC Barcelona finalized the signing of Vitor Roque from Athletico Paranaense.

The 18-year-old, who won’t join the club until 2024, has signed a seven-year contract with the LaLiga champions.

This means that two of Brazil’s most promising youngsters (Roque and Endrick Felipe) will join the two Spanish greats next year, which has been sure to spark comparisons between the two.

Andre Cury, Roque’s representative, believes FC Barcelona got a better deal than Real Madrid for Endrick, according to Sport.

If you ask me who made the best recruitment, Barca or Madrid, it’s very clear. I’ve said it before in other interviews and I’ll say it again. In my opinion, Vitor is better than Endrick.

“In my life I always try to be impartial, but I see Vitor Roque wearing number 9 for Brazil, for everything he does in every game with Athletico Paranaense”.

Regardless of who is considered the best, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid will certainly be delighted to have signed Roque and Endrick respectively, and both players are sure to be major players in the Clasico for many years to come.
