OM has just locked up one of the most promising elements of its professional squad.

The OM management is currently active. And not only in terms of recruitment. The club is also working in another area, which consists of strengthening the main jewels of its first team. In this sense, it has managed to sign a new contract with the young Enzo Sternal.

Sternal (17 years old), who made his professional debut during the past campaign, has signed a contract until 2027 with the Marseille team. He is thus following in the footsteps of other youngsters who have recently signed up, such as Gael Lafont, Keyliane Abdallah and Raimane Daou.

OM prepares for its future

Sternal arrived in Marseille in 2015 from AS Nancy. He quickly made a name for himself among the youth teams, notably by participating in the conquest of the French U17 championship title and then in the victory in the Gambardella Cup.

During the off-season, Sternal also signed several attractive performances in friendly matches. Roberto De Zerbi, the new coach, appreciated his performance and could call on him regularly during the coming season. A season during which the young hopeful will wear the number 22.

After Sternal, OM is also likely to extend other youngsters from its training center. Calisto, Leccese, Konan, Valero, Remadina, Vaz and Issanga are the next candidates for a professional contract.
