Victor Osimhen’s dream of joining the Premier League seems to be fading away day by day. Indeed, after Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea are also said to be on the verge of giving up on the Nigerian striker.
The reason? The high demands of Naples, who are demanding 100 million euros to let the African Ballon d’Or leave this summer. An amount deemed excessive by the Blues’ management.
A clear path for Arsenal?
Sky Italy reports that the London leaders have decided to change target, thus checking the name of Samu Omorodion, Spanish striker returning to Atlético Madrid after a season on loan at Alaves. If this lead is confirmed, the recruitment of Osimhen could well be relegated to the background, or even definitively abandoned.
That leaves Arsenal, who are also interested in the former Lille player. However, the Lagos native, under contract until June 2026, does not seem to be a priority for the Gunners either, who are also following Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak.
