As of this season,
the champions league will take place in a new format. 36 clubs will participate in this competition during the 2024-2025 financial year. This allows four additional teams to compete against the best clubs in Europe.
These 36 clubs will participate in a single league competition in which they will be ranked together. 29 of them are already known. The teams will be divided into four pots of nine clubs for the draw which will take place on August 29.

Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool FC, FC Internazionale, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, FC Barcelona
Hat 2:
Bayer Leverkusen, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Atalanta Bergamo, SL Benfica, Arsenal, Club Bruges, Rangers FC, (if qualified round 3 and 4), Shakhtar Donestk
Hat 3:
AC Milan, Feyenoord Rotterdam, Sporting CP, PSV Eindhoven, Slavia Prague (if qualified round 3 and 4), Dinamo Zagreb (if qualified round 4), Red Star Belgrade (if qualified round 4), PAOK Thessaloniki (if qualified round 3 and 4), Ferencvaros (if qualified round 3 and 4)
