FC Barcelona have just come forward to sign Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo.

FC Barcelona have made an offer for Manchester City full-back Joao Cancelo.

The Portuguese international spent last season on loan at Barca and the Catalans are keen to sign him for a longer term. They waited for the English club to lower their demands, but with no news from the Eastlands, they ended up taking the initiative.

Barça wants Joao Cancelo

The Daily Star claims that Barcelona have made a new loan request for Cancelo, an offer that includes a mandatory purchase option next summer.

The offer is €8 million for a loan with a permanent option of €20 million. Cancelo’s contract with the English club runs until the summer of 2027.
