Sevilla FC needed a striker to replace the departure of Youssef En-Nesyri, who left for Fenerbahçe. This player was found since the signing of Kelechi Iheanacho was just announced by the Sevillians. The Nigerian had been free of any contract since his departure from Leicester at the end of last season.
At 27, the striker hopes to get back on track at a club that regularly plays a leading role in La Liga. He is coming off a complicated season (6 goals in 26 games in all competitions) with the Foxes in the Championship where he was a substitute. He has signed for two years, plus an optional year with Sevilla.
