Reliable and incredibly promising in the defense of the Dogues, Leny Yoro was recruited by Manchester United in the off-season, for a colossal sum of 62 million euros. Since the beginning of his young professional career, the French international had only been injured for 6 days with Losc. Unfortunately, wearing the Red Devils jersey seems to have changed his luck.
Present in the United States with his team for a training camp before the start of the season, the former Lille player appeared on crutches at the end of today’s training session, with a protective boot on his left foot. Injured in the ankle against Arsenal in a friendly, Yoro still accompanies his teammates on the UCLA campus, but may not be able to break in his new colors any time soon. According to local media, the native of Saint-Maurice will be absent for a period of between 1 and 2 months.

Who will replace him ?
A blow for Manchester United, who are hoping to get off to a good start this season in the Premier League, but will already have to do without one of their summer signings for the restart. In the squad coached by Erik ten Haag, Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelöf and veteran Jonny Evans are likely to fight for one of the places in the eleven.
The Red Devils will kick off their Premier League season on August 16, at 9pm, against Fulham. In addition to Leny Yoro, the Mancunians have registered the arrival of Joshua Zirkzee, the Dutch striker, from Bologna, for a cheque of 42.5 million euros.
