A tough blow for OGC Nice. Two weeks before the start of the new Ligue 1 season, the Côte d’Azur club lost one of its key players due to injury.
Terem Moffi, the Nigerian centre-forward of Gym, has suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament in his knee. The former Lorient player will be immobilised for many months. He is therefore forced to give up a good part of the 2024/2025 season.
Nice seriously decimated
Moffi was OGC Nice’s most decisive player during the past campaign. In all competitions, he scored 11 goals and provided 2 assists in 32 matches played.
This is a defection that Franck Haise, the new coach of Nice, could have done without. The latter has already seen two of his key players leave for other climes this summer. Khephren Thuram and Jean-Clair Todibo have both been recruited by Juventus.
