On the occasion of the first preparation match, played on Saturday against Nîmes, OM presented an unprecedented face on the attacking front.

Which eleven was going to be able to align Marcelino? This was one of the major questions when OM and their new coach were going to face Nîmes (National), early Saturday evening for the first preparation match for the Olympians in the 2023-2024 version.

We were curious to know in particular the name of the axial striker while Vitinha, who only resumed the path of the Robert Louis-Dreyfus center on Friday, was short of preparation to start the scheduled meeting at the Robert Louis-Dreyfus center.

Alexis Sanchez, he has been free since the end of his contract at 1er July, obviously has no intention of signing a new lease with OM. So, Marcelino did with the means at hand, namely the young reserve players. Most, if not all, unknown to the general public.

Bilel Nadir and Ange Lago started the match against the Crocodiles on one of the pitches at La Commanderie. We also noted the presence at the kickoff of Brice Negouai at the right side position. In the second half, Marcelino made ten changes.

Among the entrants, Vitinha was quick to distinguish himself by opening the score (1-0, 49e). The young Portuguese motivated to silence criticsthen doubled the stake to the 70e (2-0). Final score.
