Carlo Ancelotti gave a positive assessment of Jude Bellingham’s first month at Real Madrid.
Los Blancos reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund in June to bring in their number 1 target ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Bellingham has spoken of his desire to make an impact at Madrid and the England international is expected to play a key role in the upcoming campaign.
Bellingham’s debut in the Spanish capital did not go smoothly as a minor knee injury forced the club to alter their pre-season programme.
But despite the setback, Ancelotti has been impressed with the 20-year-old as he plans changes in Real Madrid’s midfield this season.
“He is adapting well. He’s a very young player and different from the other midfielders we have.”according to information from Diario AS.
“We are very happy that he is with us and that he is raising the level of Real Madrid.
“He’s working hard, he’s doing well and he’ll play on this tour.”
Real Madrid are set to begin their pre-season tour of the United States in the coming days, before playing four matches in North America.
Apart from the Clasico against Barcelona on July 29, Ancelotti will also face challenges from two of his former sides, Juventus and AC Milan, and Premier League giants Manchester United.
