For its first outing of the offseason, Nantes lost heavily to Laval – resident of Ligue 2 – this Saturday in Saint-Nazaire.

Tchokounté scored twice for Stade Lavallois (10e and 29e from the penalty spot), Mupemba having added to the score in the second half (75e) – note which could have been even more salty without a penalty pushed back by Descamps.

At the same time, Brest dominated Avranches (2-0), National club, on a double from Mounié (76e and 79e). Clermont, for its part, got the better of Orléans (1-0), another third division formation, thanks to Andric (83e on penalty).

A little later in the evening, Montpellier got the better of Toulouse (3-1). If Onaiwu opened the scoring for TFC (15e), the MHSC made the difference by Issoufou (45e+3), Khazri (62e) and Delaye (82e).
