Euro U19: No final for the French
The Bleuettes fell in the semi-final of the Euro U19 this Wednesday, beaten by the Netherlands.

After two group stage wins over Serbia and Lithuania, then a narrow defeat against England, the French women bowed out today at the gates of the Euro Under-19 final.

Against the Netherlands in Kaunas, Philippe Joly’s players cracked twice in the first half (19e42e), for a 0-2 defeat which was inevitably frustrating.

The Dutch will face the Spanish, double holders of the trophy and winners of the English (3-1), for the title on Saturday.

On Thursday in Belfast, the Bleuets will also be playing in the semi-finals of their Euro U19. Against Ukraine (kick-off at 8 p.m.).
