A few days after the publication of a video showing Enzo Fernández and other Argentinian players singing a racist chant against the Blues, the Chelsea midfielder is at the heart of a new controversy. This Friday, the BBC reveals that the world champion would indeed be prosecuted by the British justice system.

His mistake? Not having declared himself as the driver of a Porsche that had broken the highway code last November. The media specifies that Enzo Fernández had in fact run a red light in the streets of London at the time, in addition to having driven an uninsured vehicle (due to lack of evidence, the second accusation was withdrawn). Found guilty, however, for the first, the player should be tried on September 11. His hearing had been adjourned in order to determine if he could benefit from mitigating circumstances.
