Reactions have been pouring in since the controversial video of Enzo Fernández and some Argentina players after the Copa América victory. The Chelsea player and several of his teammates sang a racist chant about the origins of the French team players. Since then, several players have broken their silence, including Wesley Fofana and Jules Koundé.

Well, this Wednesday evening, Mike Maignan also reacted to this video. In response to a post by Jules Koundé, the French team goalkeeper published a photo with the following text: “everything is fine, they will still “open an investigation”” accompanying a photo of Samuel L. Jackson in the film Django where he plays a houseman in the service of the white community. The Blues’ goalkeeper makes particular reference to the inaction of the authorities who do not always punish racist excesses.
