Euro 2024 will start in a few hours. Expected at the turning point with the status of favorite in Germany, the French team will not have the right to make mistakes against several big cars which could cause them problems. But now, in major competitions, Didier Deschamps’ gang knows how to do it. The French coach is also studying the best system to bring in to win a third coronation in the competition. Thus, the two friendly matches against Luxembourg (3-0) and Canada (0-0) made it possible to gauge the qualities and faults to be erased from his team.

After testing several players, the 55-year-old coach is preparing to make some changes to his eleven and will choose according to the latest training sessions. In this sense, The Team informs us this Friday that Adrien Rabiot and William Saliba were starters during the last tactical setup of the Blues. The former Parisian was present in the midfield alongside N’Golo Kanté and Antoine Griezmann while the ex-Marseillais was aligned as a central hinge in a duo with Dayot Upamecano. It now remains to be seen whether Ibrahima Konaté and Eduardo Camavinga will be sidelined for France’s first meeting against Austria on Monday (9 p.m.).
