While his arrival at Paris Saint-Germain from FK Krasnodar is imminent, Matvey Safonov (25 years old) will pass a big milestone in his career. The Russian goalkeeper will leave the club where he spent his entire early career to discover Ligue 1 and one of the best teams in Europe. Very good news in the eyes of former Russian striker Dimitri Sychev as he explained to the press agency TASS : “I think Safonov’s transfer to PSG is excellent publicity for the level of our championship and our best players.”
