Despite his lackluster outings, the number 10 of the France team is a leader in the locker room and takes to heart the fact that he wears the armband, as Konaté reveals, even when executives like Varane or Lloris were still selected.
“Kylian, even when Lloris and Varane were there, was already a leader. He is one of the only players to speak at halftime at the World Cup. He bridges the gap between the oldest and the youngest.
