Returning to Arsenal this summer, Folarin Balogun may stay there. After his very good season on loan from Reims (22 goals in all competitions), the striker wants playing time which Arteta cannot promise him. On the other hand, he claims to count on him. He also played it during this first friendly match of the summer, yesterday against Nuremberg (1-1). Unfortunately for the American international, it didn’t go very well, missing two big chances.
“We trust him. That’s why we gave him the minutes he deserves to show what he can do. He’s staying here with us for now and we’ll see what happens.”, says the Gunners coach after this friendly.
