Jude Bellingham won the La Liga player of the season award.

Jude Bellingham’s dream debut season at Real Madrid could be capped with a Champions League title this weekend, as he faces his former club Borussia Dortmund in the final at Wembley Stadium. In the meantime, he won a nice individual prize, while awaiting the Ballon d’Or vote later in the year, he who is considered the new Zidane

On Tuesday, it was announced that Bellingham had won the La Liga player of the season award, beating the likes of Isco Alarcon and Artem Dovbyk. This is the second time in a row that the 20-year-old has won this award in his respective championship, having done so in the Bundesliga in 2022-23.

New feat for Bellingham

The Young Player of the Year award went to Lamine Yamal, who made a remarkable breakthrough at Barcelona at the age of 16. The title of coach of the year has been promised to two candidates: Carlo Ancelotti of Real Madrid and Michel Sanchez of Girona. Los Blancos failed to win two awards, as it was Michel who received the trophy, after leading the Catalans to third place and their first Champions League qualification.

Three deserving winners were awarded. La Liga has had no shortage of action in 2023-24, and we can’t wait to find out more when it resumes in August, with a certain Kylian Mbappé.
