Mike Maignan is out of AC Milan’s next friendly match against AS Roma.

AC Milan ended its Serie A season this Sunday with a draw (3-3) against Salernitana. The Rossoneri are now preparing to fly to Perth in Australia, where they will face AS Roma in a friendly match this Friday.

However, the Milan team will have to cope without its starting goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, for this meeting. The French goalkeeper was, in fact, the victim of a dislocation of the little finger of his left hand during training last Thursday.

Giroud and Hernandez spared?

Despite this injury, Maignan will join the French team gathering in Clairefontaine this Wednesday. He will therefore be present to prepare for Euro 2024 which will take place in Germany from June 14 to July 14.

His club teammates, Olivier Giroud and Théo Hernandez, will be traveling with the Milan group to Australia. However, it is likely that they will be spared for the Blues’ next preparation match, against Luxembourg on June 5 in Metz.
