Continuation of the 38th and final day of Serie A, this Saturday. Following on from Juventus Turin’s victory against Monza earlier in the day, another Italian big name was expected on deck. Beaten by Torino last week, AC Milan intended to end their exercise with a success against Salernitana at San Siro. Pushed by its public, the Lombard club mastered its subject against the red lantern in the first period by taking two goals in advance through Rafael Leao (1-0, 22nd) and Olivier Giroud (2-0 , 27th), scorer for his last match under the Rossonero colors. Returning from the locker room, Simy reignited the suspense for the Granata (2-1, 64th) before Davide Calabria made the break again for the Lombards (3-1, 77th).

While AC Milan was heading straight for a success, it was without taking into account a burst of pride from the visitors who managed to grab a draw in the last ten minutes thanks to a goal from Junior Samba (3-2, 87th), imitated at the last minute by Simy (3-3, 89th). Note that this result changes absolutely nothing in the destiny of the two teams. Runner-up to Inter Milan, AC Milan had already secured participation in the next Champions League unlike the Salerno club which will return to the antechamber of Serie A.
