Kingsley Coman is not injured and uncertain for Euro 2024. The winger of Bayern and the French team, included in Didier Deschamps’ list of 25 players for the European Nations Championship, fell badly on one knee and screamed in pain on Monday at Bayern’s training center. More fear than harm.
The PSG-trained player, 27, is in the recovery phase after an adductor injury that occurred in mid-April which caused him to miss the last eight matches of the Munich season. On Tuesday, he continued his rehabilitation work in Bavaria as normal in the hope of being fully operational at the Blues rally in Clairefontaine in two weeks, on Wednesday May 29.
Coman, three matches in four months
But his summons raises questions and “La Dèche” inflicts quite a headache on himself. Coman not only missed the end of the season, he also missed nine Bayern matches in February and March due to a muscle injury. Since January 27, 2024, he has only taken part in three matches with his team, for only one start, on April 13 in the Bundesliga.
